Here are my tried and tested gluten free restaurants in Edinburgh!
Apiary is an absolutely fantastic restaurant in Edinburgh which is almost entirely gluten free! The restaurant itself is really nice and the food is always super tasty. Apiary advertises itself as being 99% gluten free and all dishes are gluten free unless marked otherwise. Even the ones marked can be made gluten free on request! The prices are a bit more on the expensive side but personally I think it is definitely worth it for a great taste and the reassurance that everything is naturally gluten free.
Himalaya Café in Edinburgh is a personal favourite of mine. It is a lovely wee community style restaurant with some of the most incredible curries I’ve ever had. Nothing is advertised as gluten free on the menu but if you ask the staff they are very helpful and accommodating. The curries come with the option of rice of chapati so just make sure to choose the rice. All the food is made on the premises freshly so they are really aware of what is in the dishes. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
Mosque Kitchen in Edinburgh is a fantastic place for a brilliant curry. There is no menu here but every time I have been I have asked the staff which dishes are gluten free and I have never had any problems. All the dishes I have tried are excellent, the portion sizes are extremely generous and the prices are very reasonable.
